Good deal on refrigerator, stove, dishwasher

I remodeled my house and my wife and I wanted really nice appliances for our kitchen. We found what we wanted at Scratch-N-Dent on Broadway. We would have easily paid twice the money for the package we got anywhere else. We dealt with Jaime, and he was good, gave us a 5% break on the package deal since we bought all at once. They do delivery. We were able to get delivery the next day, nice guys, careful with everything.

Bought the wife a new washer/dryer, front loaders. Got a good deal from Jaime. Saw ad on craigslist and called in to ask about price. Went in the same day, Jaime took good care of us. Guy knows his stuff. Wife is happy. Got a rebate for some water saving something or other from SAWS. Going back soon for kitchen stuff.

My husband and I have bought from the Broadway location three times and always been happy. Great prices, usually really good selection, Jaime and Isabelle very helpful, very courteous. DO NOT deal with Vince. We did once, won't again. He was rude, too pushy and frustrating. Had no idea what he was talking about. We had talked with someone else on the phone but he was not in the day we came. We came back another day. Bought from Isabelle and Jaime before, both great. Vince not so much. Delivery personnel also really good.

Pros:Great prices on lots of appliances, good high end stuff
Cons:Be safe on customer service, ask for Jaime or Isabelle

Worst Service After the Sale

My first experience with Scratch N Dent on Broadway will be my last. The service before the sale is adequate but after the sale the service is unbelievably horrible. I purchased three appliances and called for assistance after a couple of days of use. The salesman immediately became defensive and outright lied to me about how the appliance should operate. I could also hear the manager in the background backing up his story. A couple of days later when I called with the same problem I was given a different story by the store manager who then said she would call me back with a resolution. Days went by with no phone call. I finally received a call and was told sorry the appliance cannot be returned or exchanged. When I called her on the lies, she offered no apologies or resolution. It's a good thing I was able to fix the appliance myself. If ScratchNDent had taken the time to understand the problem and help me fix it, I would be a completely satisfied customer ready to purchase another item. Be wary these people have no experience with the actual appliances and will not go out of their way to help.
