Potluck Kids Clothes at Reasonable Prices by Kristin C. at InsiderPages

I'm a clothes snob in that I love to dress my little girl in name brand kids' clothes (they're just so CUTE), but I'm absolutely humble in that they don't have to be brand new (they're just so EXPENSIVE.) So I spend a lot of time shopping for her duds at yard sales, flea markets and secondhand stores such as Once Upon A Child. A wide variety of sizes is available here, from preemie and newborn up to kids sizes 8 or so. Shoes, accessories, books, baby gear and toys are also sold here, and the inventory rotates quickly so you never know what you might find on any given visit. Strollers and swings are nearly always in stock, sometimes bassinets or playpens, always a staggering number of toys, games, books and videos. Prices at Once Upon A Child are reasonable, although certainly higher than yard sale or flea market prices. Most outfits are around $3, toys $5-10, strollers $40 and up. If you don't mind used items in good condition, this is a great place to shop. They also buy used clothes and gear, but I've found that I could sell my things for much more elsewhere. This location is better organized and less crowded than other Once Upon A Child locations I've visited, making this my preferred store. PROS: Huge variety of items and sizes; neatly organized; decent prices. CONS: Sell your used things elsewhere.
