not so happy by christy b. at InsiderPages

I have been to this store many times and I find that the experience gets worse and worse. I have attempted to sell new items barely worn and have been told they were too worn. Meanwhile there are COUNTLESS items that are out of style, torn or stained hanging up for sale on the racks. The staff treats you as if you are wasting THEIR time when you bring in a sale and then they try to convince you to buy their trash after turning down your perfectly good items....

Not A Good Place To Sell Your Kids Old Stuff !!

I went to Once Upon A Child last year right before my son was born to sell my older daughters old clothes and toys. I thought that since I had lots of great items in good condition that I would at lease have enought money or store credit to purchase clothes for my son to be. Well, after 3 laundry baskets full of clothes and a trunk full of toys I was only offered $20 My husband and I looked at eachother and could not believe it! I took all my stuff back home and had a garage sell and sold everything for a little over $100. My husband and I have not been back since. I now go to Kid to Kid that's right down the street for purchasing and selling.

    Bad Service

I refuge to go back into this store. I have really good stuff and the offer given to me wasn't worth the time I had to wait. I guess when your paid minimum wage, that's the service you get!

Experience by Sonya O. at InsiderPages

I have been going to OUAC for the past five years and I got to say this store has never looked so unorganized and messy. The customer service is the worse now then it has ever been. The selections of the merchandise is so out of style, I can't believe they actually buy them. Not to mention all the clothes have holes in them where the tags are! The owner doesn't open the store on time, she strolls in at least 30 to 45mins when the store should be open. I can't believe this store is still open. VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER

I took some of my kids clothes in to sale and I had a great experience! I had several of my kids clothes to sell and I got a very good price for things I sold to Once Upon a Child in Arlington, I will for sure go back there over and over again!
