Stay Away From This Store!!! New Ownership! by Lori S. at InsiderPages

My family and I have been taking clothes to Once Upon A Child for several years. Most of our clothes are name brand (Aeropostle/Limited Two/Old Navy/Hollister/Forever 21, etc) and in excellent condition. Any resale shop would be lucky to have them. We recently visited the Once Upon A Child in Gilbert to sell our freshly laundered name brand clothes. Upon entering the store we were told that they would only look through one bag of clothes. (Previous owner would look through whatever you brought). This was news to us and when questioning this we were informed that they were under new ownership. The new owner happened to be present and in so many words told us she had no interest in looking through the 4 bags we brought with us. She said she'd look through one bag and that would be it! She also had the nerve to ask us if our clothes were clean and asked if they were name brand. With an attitude like that this new owner will quickly go out of business. We left that store and went to Plato's closet. They loved our clothes and I'm sure turned around and sold them for lots of money!!! The Gilbert Once Upon A Child has lost our business forever.

Great Store with a wonderful selection

This store is an amazing find! The new owners have really created a great new clean and organized layout. The selection is awesome now and with the new layout it is a real pleasure to shop!

not that much stuff- very cluttered by Samantha M. at InsiderPages

I went to this location thinking they would have the same amount of stuff that their chandler store had. I was disapointed to see that it was a very small cluttered store- All the clothes were shoved tightly into the racks- you could move the items to see things clearly. THey had many items in baby toddler sizes, but after about 4t things were very sparse. I was looking for size 7 jeans for a girl and I had maybe 2 to chose from they did have a small amount but nice bedding for cribs.

a little on the expensive side by Ann k. at InsiderPages

they are a nice childrens resale shop but they are a bit on the expensive side. They do have a variety of childrens clothes, furnature, anything for a baby but they are very picky on what they will buy from you.

    high prices but nice items

I think this store has nice used children's items, the only problem is they are much more expensive than most children's stores. However, the items they sell in here most of them look brand new. So you are getting a discount from the new price. They have some high quality stuff in here, and the workers will help you pick out stuff. Especially if you are a guy and you dont know what's in style in childrens fashions the staff is good at helping you.
