Easy to Sell to, But Don't Like Shopping There! by S B. at InsiderPages

Pros - 1) Easy to sell to, no appt required. 2) Occassionally find a good deal. Cons - 1) Often teenage girls deciding what to purchase. How do they know what parents in this area will buy for their kids - babysitting experience doesn't count! 2) Will frequently take only part of an outfit (i.e., Shirt, but not matching pants), which then makes it completely useless if trying to sell elsewhere; 3) Some prices are higher on used clothing than buying new elsewhere (i.e., if I'm looking for a red t-shirt, why would I pay $8 for a used, faded Gymboree t-shirt when I can go to Kohl's and pick up a brand new one on sale for $6? Gymboree or not, it's still used and shows signs of wear) 4) Find a great deal of inconsistency as to what they consider gently used. I have too often found things that were definitely showing their age, but the price did not reflect the condition. 5) The store is so cram-packed full of clothes, that it's next to impossible to go through the racks of clothing to shop. PROS: No Appointment Required to Sell to Them CONS: Store is Crammed Full, Racks Hard to Go Through to Shop

This store is great when it comes to purchasing gently used clothing/furniture for children. Very large selection of everything and items are priced to sell. Wonderful experience, would definitely shop there again.

Good to buy from but not to sell by Kristen Z. at InsiderPages

I have gotten a lot of nice, gently used clothing items from this store. The Gymboree items are way overpriced though. And, selling items isn't worth your time. Try selling on ebay instead. PROS: Good, quality used clothing CONS: Not good to sell to-doesn't give top dollar

Gotta hand it to 'em. . . they get away with a lot by Me S. at InsiderPages

This store is full of themselves. Their prices on USED clothing is HIGH. They price name-brands high, and apparently it's working for them. I think a used t-shirt or infant outfit in good condition should be priced accordingly - as a USED item - never mind that the brand name is GAP or OLD NAVY or some boutique. A t-shirt is a t-shirt. I can find NEW t-shirts at the department store in the next shopping plaza over for the same price on the clearance rack. Toys are over-priced as well. I saw a bucket of DuPlos that sell for $9.99 at Target priced at $7.50 at OUAC. That is WAY too much for a used item. I guess that they over-price their stock because they can get away with it. Personally, I can't justify paying such high prices for used clothing 'specially for toddler and infant clothes that will get worn MAYBE three months before it is too small. In addition, they JAM-PACK the clothes onto the racks so that you can barely browse. You have to pull the clothes out of the rack, then you can't get them in again without shoving them back. The other thing I dislike about this store is that the play area has a TV. Okay, granted that many people let their kids watch TV unsupervised; but not everyone does. If no kids are in the corral, then turn off the TV. PROS: used clothes CONS: overpriced, crowded, overpriced and expensive

Great place to sell gently used kids stuff. by Emme G. at InsiderPages

I took in some of my daughter's old toys. They were very selective taking only the gently used items and paid a premium for what they did take. I'd like to say that I left w/lots of money, but by the time my offer was ready, I'd picked so much new stuff to buy. I highly recommend this location and am a happy customer. PROS: Buy and Sell gently used items. CONS: Some clothes are stained...look very closely.
