Hard to work with

I have been to this Once Upon a Child to sell twice and they are very unfriendly and unwilling to work with you in any way. I went ahead and sold stuff to them the first time, but they were just down right rude to a lady that came in there to pick up her check. Today I went back and drove from McKinney to sell them stuff. They told me it would be a 5 hour wait, very ubruptly, and I said it was fine that I would just leave them and come back tomorrow. She said that if they were done before close today, that they'd call and I'd HAVE to come back and get them before close! It was 3:15 pm when I went in there. She said I needed to wait around for 5 hours and if they didn't get to me in the those 5 hours that they'd get to it tomorrow and I'd have to come back tomorrow to get them. Very irrational. Guess they don't need the business and they let you know that! So, I told them I wouldn't be back and I'm taking my business to another consignment shop that is more friendly and has less attitude. I wouldn't give anyone business that acts like that. They act like they work for the IRS and life is horrible!

Instead of cash they will give you store credit, so you can get stuff that your baby needs with it. If you want to sell, you'd better call in advance and set up an appointment.

This is a store that accepts your gently used baby and child items - ranging from clothes to furniture. They have a good selection and the lay out is good. Items can be pricey though for the quality.

Once Upon a child is a great place to buy used baby items such as clothes, cribs, swing, toy, and just about anything thing related to babies. This is also a consignment store, so it's also a great place to sell your children clothes, toys, and any other baby items. You will get more for your money than trying to sell it at a garage store. As any consignment store goes, it's a hit & miss thing. So be sure to check them every once in a while.
