• Close your fireplace damper
• Turn off gaming consoles when not in use
• Install a programmable thermostat
• Put your computer to sleep with power management

Most of the big electronics retailers offer drop-off recycling programs for electronic devices. Some call it E-Cycling or E-Waste.

Here are a couple examples:

You can also do things like sending your old cell phone back to the manufacturer or donating it to charity. If you have things like TV’s or computers check with your local recycling centers to make sure they can handle the proper disposal of this type of item, if not try to find one that can.
